Pastor Daniel Good began serving at Golden’s Point Church in June, 2021.  Prior to moving to Hamilton, he studied at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, Missouri.  While studying at the seminary, Pastor Daniel taught at a Christian school for two years, served as a pastoral intern at First Baptist of Grandview and spent time as an interim pastor at First Christian Church in Garden City, Missouri.
Before seminary, Pastor Daniel went to the University of Wyoming where he studied secondary education with a minor from the honors college.  Pastor Daniel was involved with The Navigators while in college, serving for three years as a student leader.  He also had the chance to spend a summer in Trinidad and Tobago ministering to students and supporting a local church in outreach.

David Elschlager has ministered at GPC since he joined the church over forty years ago.  He has served in many capacities: Sunday School teacher, youth group leader, worship team member, and sometimes, chief chili cook.  He has been an elder for the congregation for at least twenty-five years.  As a leader in the church, David is passionate about guiding the congregation into worship of the Lord and helping to develop an organizational plan to serve more effectively. He and his wife, Tina, have raised three children and now the family also includes a daughter-in-law, two sons-in-law, and six beautiful grandchildren.

Ken Litchfield grew up on the sunny beaches of California. Ken and his wife Adele moved to Hamilton from California in the 90’s and call the Nauvoo area their home. Adele works at Nauvoo-Colusa and Ken currently works in HVAC.

Ron Starr grew up “just down the road” from GPC.  He has served as an elder for the congregation for 5 years now.  Although he probably feels most comfortable helping others see Jesus during a “project,” which may involve a hammer, cement or roof jacks, he also has served in various capacities in leadership and teaching at the church.
Ron acknowledges it is important to reach out to the community, and thus has had the opportunity to serve on several boards: the local school board, several agriculture related organizations, and he currently serves on the Sonora Township board.
Ron and his wife Patti have farmed together all of their married life while raising three children.  They are also very happy to be called grandparents.
