Making Ice Cream
Saturday, July 14, 2018 Serving begins at 5:00 PM
The Goldens’ Point Church Ice Cream Social is a summer tradition that is over 100 years old. The church body gathers early in the morning to make home-made ice cream, which is served in the evening in addition to homemade pies, cakes, maidrites, and hot dogs. Musical entertainment by The Lemmings is happening out in the yard, and a good time is usually had by all!
Funds raised in the evening are used for local missions. This year, proceeds will go to C.A.R.E. of Hancock County, Tri-State Family Services, Campus Students for Christ at Western Illinois University, and KMDY Christian radio station.
